I've signed up for the month long challenge at The Biblio blogazine. I discovered it via Bibliofreak's blog.

The challenge: Read one banned/ challenged book per week for the whole month of September.

My tentative list:
The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
Go Tell It On the Mountain by James Baldwin
Kaffir Boy by Mark Mathabane
As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner

The official ALA banned books week is September 26-October 3.

I love your list. I read THE KITE RUNNER in school and was surprised. Probably because I didn't expect a required reading book to be so good. I hope you like it.
