Review Policy
Books
I am currently open to receiving review requests. Please know that I'm very selective regarding what I accept to review. I can only accept hard copies of books. These can be ARCs or published copies. I'm willing to host blog tours and giveaways and conduct author interviews. I typically ask for 2-4 weeks from receipt to read and review a book. To accommodate virtual book tours and release dates for pre-publication reviews, this timeframe is negotiable. I will cross-post my review on Amazon, LibraryThing, and Goodreads. Barnes & Noble and Borders will be included by request. If I receive a book that I just absolutely do not like, I will find someone else to share the book with. This should be a rare occurrence since I'm so selective.
*Preferred genres: literary fiction by and about people of color, African/ African American nonfiction (history and social science)
*Genres I DO NOT review: mystery, Christian fiction/nonfiction, horror, romance
*Genres I will consider: YA fiction by and about people of color, African American speculative fiction

Homeschool Materials (curriculum, planners, etc.)
I'm open to reviewing just about anything except completely Christ-centered curriculum. I prefer curriculum with a broader worldview. I'm extremely open to multicultural/ global learning and teaching products. Note that we are an eclectic and homeschool incorporating Charlotte Mason and The Well Trained Mind.

I'm open to reviewing other things like hair care products for curly girls. A full list of ingredients must be included in the request. I love accessories and heavily support handmade products so I'm more than happy to do reviews for jewelry artisans. Feel free to contact me about any other items you may want reviewed.
